Malta - Colorful island spring

With colorful flowering meadows, lots of greenery, a crystal-clear sea and bright blue skies, the Maltese islands show their most colorful side in spring. Spring starts really early in the year here, with pleasantly mild temperatures of 20 degrees between January and April, Malta and Gozo are the perfect place to escape the uncomfortable season in this country and soak up some sun. Fireworks have a centuries-old tradition on Malta - it goes back to the time of the Order of St. John, which settled on the island from 1530. The tradition is still alive today. Its annual highlight is the Malta International Fireworks Festival, which was launched shortly after the turn of the millennium. This year, between April 22 - 30, 2023, Malta invites you to celebrate this tradition over eight days and at seven different locations in Malta and Gozo.
