The 68-room boutique retreat, which is part of the Design Hotels group, is located in a historic city palace and has been stylishly staged by Portuguese artist Nini Andrade - with an eclectic mix of past and present. While the rooms are dominated by warm, feel-good colors, the gourmet restaurant Vila Foz, which is known for its excellent seafood cuisine, is decorated in cool, maritime seawater green.
