Andronis Minois
Luxury hotel with village character
Paros may be a small Cycladic island, but its landscape is more varied than you might think. The area on the west coast, where the Andronis Minois is one of the "Small Luxury Hotels of the World", is almost wild. It is perched on a cliff like a small village. The Parasporos beach - with two tavernas and sun loungers comfortable enough for a day by the sea - can be reached along a path. Or you can relax on the daybeds by the centrally located, not too large pool (only available from 11 a.m. due to cleaning work) with chilled music. The best seats for dinner in the hotel's Olvo restaurant are at the front, almost directly above the sea. The cuisine is modern Greek and Mediterranean, as is the trend on the island, but there is room for improvement, e.g. when guests' wishes regarding the degree of cooking are only implemented at the second attempt. But praise is due for what are probably the best grilled artichokes. The à la carte breakfast is good in the morning, even if the direct location on the street is suboptimal. But let's move on to what must have convinced the Small Luxury Hotels of the World: The Andronis Minois is a very well-kept boutique and lifestyle resort! We love the very homely suites with showers, some of which have round walls that lend the living space a special architecture. Lovingly decorated and some with private pools, they offer privacy in the middle of the "village". The vibes are good and you can feel the Mediterranean lightness as soon as you check in. The fitness room here is one of the most beautiful in the world - it consists solely of a covered pavilion with a panoramic view. The shuttle service to pretty Naoussa completes the Paros package.
Test highlight: Relaxing hours on the terrace by the private pool
