West of Palma, not far from the village of Es Capdellà, lies the 132-hectare Castell Son Claret. Once a stately country estate, the property dating back to 1770 was transformed into a luxurious hideaway with a private character by Hamburg logistics entrepreneur Klaus-Michael Kühne and his wife with great attention to detail.

The view of the Tramuntana mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is spectacular. Those looking for peace, nature and spaciousness will find their paradise here - with a jogging track, tennis court, modern spa and a panoramic saltwater pool. The romantic park resembles a Garden of Eden: hidden seating areas and idyllic retreats everywhere.

The extensive grounds are home to 41 rooms and suites, some with their own pool, garden or roof terrace. Particularly private: the new garden suites with a large veranda and fantastic views, located slightly away from the main building.

The elegant interior combines design classics by Cassina with elements by American architect Warren Platner - a stylish feel-good ambience. The new 100 m² gym, perfect for personal training and yoga, is also located in the same building.

The Castell Bar in the former chapel is cool and stylish - gin and tonic with rosemary and lavender included. A highlight for gourmets: the new Sa Clastra restaurant, opening in May. In the romantic courtyard, chef Jordi Cantó serves his creative compositions under the stars - his lamb ensaimada is considered a culinary masterpiece.

The center of enjoyment is the magnificent terrace of the Olivera Restaurant, where you will be warmly looked after from morning to night. Don't miss: the lemon tart - simply heavenly!
