ALMIRIKI: New insider tip on Mykonos

Refuge on tranquil Agrari Beach

The Myconian Collection hotel group has created a new hideaway away from the hustle and bustle of Mykonos: ALMIRIKI. Directly on the secluded Agrari Beach, where the air smells of salt and pine trees, guests can expect a place that focuses on tranquillity, authenticity and natural hospitality.

A name with symbolic power

The name ALMIRIKI refers to the tamarisk - the inconspicuous, hardy "little salt tree" that grows along the Greek coasts. It provides shade, defies the elements and is a symbol of the Greek summer. It is precisely this restraint that characterizes the concept: authentic, simple, timeless.

A place to switch off

Fine sand, clear water and minimalist architecture create an atmosphere in which the pace of everyday life noticeably slows down. Next to the sea is a pool area with a bar serving Greek spirits, light cocktails and small dishes - accompanied by relaxing music and views over the Aegean Sea.

Culinary delights under tamarisk

The centerpiece is the Taverna ALMIRIKI, located directly on the beach in the shade of the trees. The focus here is on traditional recipes, interpreted in a modern way with regional and seasonal ingredients. Whether it's fish carpaccio with lemon and ginger, wild vegetables with olive oil or grilled calamari - eating together, at lunchtime or in the evening, is part of the experience.

Wellness in the countryside

The garden cabanas are another retreat. Spa treatments with products from Elemis, Ligne St. Barth and Augustinus Bader are offered here - from herbal massages and marine mineral rituals to treatments under the stars.

A summer like back then - reimagined

ALMIRIKI harks back to the Mykonos of the 1970s, when the island was still a retreat for artists and individualists. Today, those looking for the original Greece - the gentle sound of waves, authentic cuisine and time to breathe - will find their refuge here.
