The Quell restaurant is dominated by modern wood design paired with artistic textiles by Jakob Schlaepfer from St. Gallen. True to the motto "sharing is caring", Swiss classics as well as dishes from all over the world are served here. Executive Chef Carsten Kypke brings modern variety and flavors to the APPENZELLER HUUS with creative sharing plates.

In the new Botanicum Bar, the focus is entirely on local ingredients. Bar manager Elmir Medunjanin interprets classic long drinks and cocktails with herbs and fruits from the region. The team around the well-known mixologist creates sophisticated signature drinks that perfectly match the mindful and local lifestyle of the hotel.

The feel-good experience is completed with the new Quell Spa, which extends over 2,200 square meters, with nine pools, eight saunas, steam grottos, 14 treatment rooms and a yoga platform that offers guests a fantastic view of the Appenzellerland. At the heart of the Quell Spa is the "L3 - Long Lasting Lifestyle Circle", which is unique in Europe and was awarded the prestigious "SPA Award 2025" by the German magazine SPA Inside even before its official launch. Since July, guests - whether hotel guests or external visitors - have been able to enjoy and be pampered by this innovative and unique holistic spa concept.
