The podcast about the fascination of traveling and the various countries of the world. Kiki Baron has been a travel journalist for over 35 years. As the daughter of a captain, she was practically born to travel. And in this context, how could there be a more fitting title than Logbook?

She has written for countless magazines, newspapers and books, published travel guides and books herself and has published entire photo books with her husband, photographer Paul Spierenburg.

She wants to talk to Jonas Ross about her experiences. Jonas Ross (Jon Ives) is a musician, sound engineer and editor and has known Kiki since he was a child. The two share their home in Kiel, a love of foreign countries and a long friendship. With the perspective of two different generations and Kiki's endless experience, they want to understand the foreign together and find out what we can learn about our own lives in the process.

The corona pandemic has not exactly been a time for traveling, so the beginning of Logbuch is a chance to look back on Kiki's world travels from home and in her head and get to know the countries of the world.

In each episode, they want to focus on one country or region: History, cuisine, nature, people and the major challenges facing the country.
