Cruise-Report: Regent Seven Seas Explorer (5/6)
Day 5 - Life is a beach on Mykonos: The anchor chain wakes us from our sleep with a loud clatter.
It looks like they up there on the bridge didn't want us to miss the kitschy pink sunrise over the turquoise blue sea and the bright white houses of Mykonos Town. Thanks for the early wake-up call - the view was worth it! After a hearty breakfast on deck, a day at the beach is on the agenda today: boat, bus, beach club and back again - all perfectly organized by the excursion team on board - and all free of charge. Except for the cappuccino from the paper cup, of course, which we have served to us on the sun lounger and which still costs a hefty 5.50 euros, even in the off-season. And while we're on the subject of high prices: 180 US dollars for the 50-minute massage later in the ship's spa may not be a bargain either, but it is a blessing ...
