Part 2 - the MS Roald Amundsen
Sustainability for the far north - and the remotest corners of the world: The new MS Roald Amundsen from Hurtigruten will be the first expedition ship with hybrid propulsion and will even be able to travel completely emission-free in parts! In addition to the positive environmental balance, the comfort and luxury factor is also impressive: Spacious decks, three restaurants, a fitness and wellness area as well as a bar on the upper deck with Jacuzzis and infinity pool speak for themselves - and against the purism previously propagated by the Norwegian mail ship shipping company ... It is also fitting that the ship for 530 passengers will only have outside cabins - half of them with balconies. Some suites even have private outdoor whirlpools! In its first winter season 2018/19, the MS Roald Amudsen will be sailing to Antarctica and the Chilean fjords. In summer 2019, it will then sail up and down the Norwegian coast - even with departures from Hamburg!
