Athens awaits us this morning with glorious weather and summer temperatures

The day before, it rained for the first time after months of drought - and simply washed away all the dust and dirt that had stuck to the city. Now the city sparkles and glistens like it has just been washed.
As we leave the ship, the captain at the gangway asks us how we enjoyed the trip. "Honestly, Captain, we don't know. On the one hand, we are happy to admit that your Regent Seven Seas Explorer is currently the "most luxurious ship ever built". On the other hand, however, there is a lack of well-trained and friendly staff on board in many areas - and above all, there is a lack of a service-oriented management team that actually operates at 5-star level (or even higher). This is another reason why the whole elegant ambience with all the sparkling chandeliers and works of art costing millions unfortunately seems a bit like a dazzle." And that's not just a shame, it's also pretty easy to change ...
