From a purely (chrono)logical point of view, the new "Mein Schiff 1" should actually be called "Mein Schiff 7". But since it is the old "1", we are happy to let TUI Cruises get away with this little cheat. After all, the 2,849-passenger premium liner, which will officially set sail for the first time at the Hamburg Harbour Birthday, is already considered the new number 1 in terms of size, facilities and offerings...
What we are already looking forward to is the enlarged fitness and wellness area with almost 500 meters of jogging track and a completely covered sports arena. What we like on board the entire Mein Schiff fleet and will not be missing on Mein Schiff 1 are the stylish interiors, the excellent restaurants and the coherent entertainment offerings. Champagne or currywurst? Both will be possible on Mein Schiff 1. A concept that not only applies to the culinary delights: on board, guests will also be able to choose between an inside cabin or a penthouse suite on two floors with panoramic windows and a private roof terrace. This is Cruising 2.0 on the Mein Schiff 1(.1)...
