China Airlines is the 15th member of the SkyTeam airline alliance. The membership process
2010 was completed on September 28 with the admission of the Taiwanese airline. The alliance around Air France-KLM and Delta Air Lines aims to further consolidate its position in the Chinese market with the addition of China Airlines. Other cornerstones of the alliance in China are China Southern Airlines and China Eastern Airlines. China Airlines also flies to Taipei from Vienna and Frankfurt.
