Beneficial improvement - Senator Lounge Frankfurt
Since the summer, frequent flyers with Senator status have been able to wait for their flight in the largest Lufthansa lounge at Frankfurt Airport. Located in the departure area of Terminal 1, Area B, top customers are not only welcomed by a bright, elegant and friendly ambience. For the first time in a Senator Lounge, there is a modern wellness area with ten shower baths and two spa rooms. Massages and various treatments or facial and full-body treatments are a good change while waiting for the flight. Another brand new feature is the "City Lights Bar" with unique lighting effects and, above all, an impressive selection of drinks. A barman fulfills requests such as mixed cocktails or classic long drinks.
The centerpiece of the new lounge is an atrium, which also bathes the areas outside the 130 square meter window front in daylight. Very pleasant: there are over 300 seats in the 1,800 square meter area. Frequent flyers, who often change planes in Frankfurt, know the overcrowded lounges well enough. During our local inspection, there was enough space despite a peak time of departures. In this case, departure gate B44 was ideally located opposite the lounge. In addition to comfort, bistro and work areas, there is a spacious relaxation room with leather beds and a smoking room. The relaxing armchairs with a view of the apron are ideal. Current news can be watched on TV sets throughout the lounge. The selection of food is extensive, and hot dishes are also served.
And what has been a long time coming has finally become good. Since July 1, 2011, free wireless broadband Internet access has been available to guests in all Lufthansa lounges worldwide. Other airlines have been offering this service to their lounge guests for much longer.
