FlyNiki
FlyNiki will fly three times a week from Vienna to Tel Aviv from February 20. Niki Lauda emphasizes to Connoisseur Circle that the plans to expand the Vienna hub for Air Berlin/Niki and the members of the Oneworld alliance (British Airways, Finnair etc.) are in full swing. "We are currently checking whether we will have 23 aircraft in operation next year". There are currently 21 Airbus/Embraer jets. Lauda does not fear overcapacity despite poor economic forecasts. "The advance bookings are within budget. There will also be a positive result this year," says Lauda. An additional Airbus A320 will be stationed in Salzburg in summer 2012.
