Turkish Airlines
Europe's fastest growing airline Turkish Airlines will offer live television on transatlantic flights in future. Wireless Internet access will also be introduced on board. The Star Alliance member will use the "eXConnect" system from Panasonic for live television and Internet access. In addition to downloading data for the Internet, it also enables the transmission of high-resolution TV images. In future, passengers will be able to watch international TV channels such as BBC World, BBC Arabic or Euronews without interruption during the flight. Users of notebooks, iPads or tablet PCs will be able to surf the Internet wirelessly. The first aircraft to be equipped with the system was a brand-new Boeing 777-300ER. Turkish Airlines is gradually introducing live TV and Internet on eleven other Boeing 777-300ER jets and ten Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
