After 40 years of catering by the Lufthansa subsidiary LSG, the German vacation airline Condor has now commissioned Gate Gourment as the new supplier for its Kullinarium.

Connoisseur Circle completed a Business Class test on Condor on June 1 from Frankfurt to Cancun, which will be reported in detail in one of the next Connoisseur Circle issues. The new supplier was used for the first time on our test flight. Condor's menu continues to be impressive, which, it should be noted, has always been very comprehensive when it comes to meals. On our flight, the premiere day of Gate Gourmet, Connoisseur Circle was able to see for itself that the quality was guaranteed. The lunch service on the midday flight to Cancun included two different starters. There was a choice of three main courses, such as fresh asparagus spears with veal fillet medallion or grouper with curry cream sauce. The vegetarian option was dumplings filled with ricotta and red pesto. From the world of champagne, French Duval LeRoy, Beut Reserve is served. A charming selection of white and red wines rounded off a lovely lunch.

More details about Condor's Business Class, which has been available on 16 Boeing 767s since 2014, as mentioned in one of the next Connoisseur Circle magazines.
